if the question is:
1."how do you comb your hair in the morning?", it's ok you just made a little mistake, the word "tú" is a pronoun that a Spanish speaker don use 'cos it's implicit in the verb, by the way "pelo" it's an animal think, persons have "cabello" (but even I forget to use it XP) and we normaly use "el pelo" instead "tu pelo"
2."Do you comb your hair in the morning?" this one seem (to me) like you don't comb your hair XD; a sarcastic way to ask and this is the sentence: ¿te peinaste (el cabello) en la mañana? Here the verb is in the past, a totally different tense. When you speak you can omit "cabello" but you're learning so don't do it, your teacher wants you to learn properly
A little large but I think it's better for you, tell me if I confused you...
